Lyre's jugée supérieure aux spiritueux alcoolisés lors d'une dégustation à l'aveugle
Celebrations are continuing here at Lyre's HQ, with our non-alcoholic spirits picking up a raft of massive awards in recent weeks.
Les Drink Easy Awards sont une célébration des boissons australiennes et de la culture qui entoure la brasserie, la distillation et la fermentation.
Lyre's Non-Alcoholic Spirits performed extremely well in the non-alcoholic category, taking out the gold, silver and two additional Top Ten placings amongst a field of non-alcoholic beers, wines, RTDs and Spirits.
The judges declared Gold winner Lyre's Italian Orange was: "Super enjoyable with something light and fizzy for bitter orange soda vibes. The perfect Italian summer in a glass, sans the booze."
They said Silver winner Lyre's Apéritif Rosso: "Would definitely work well as a spritz. Lovely acidity, balanced bitterness and citrus rounds this out to perfection."
Lyre's Coffee Origionale and Amaretti rounded out this impressive showing, picking up sixth and seventh places respectively.
Even more remarkable however, was Lyre's debut in the inaugural Concours d’Spirits competition, where our non-alcoholic products won high praise when judged against their full-strength counterparts.
Lyre’s Apéritif Rosso was one of only five double gold medals presented across all categories of the Concours d’Spirits, which is judged blind by 12 world-renowned palates and leaders within the wine and spirits industry.
“It’s incredibly unexpected and very much appreciated that within six months of launching, our range of Lyre’s non-alcoholic spirits are being recognised this way," said our co-founder and CEO Mark Livings.

Judged blind by the experts, Lyre's Non-Alcoholic Spirits also received three silver medals for our Orange Sec, White Cane Spirit and Aperitif Dry.
